WCCOB MISSION STATEMENT
PURPOSE
The purpose of Willow Creek Church of the Open Bible is to honor the one true
and living God, through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
MEANS
Recognizing God's sovereignty and Christ's lordship over the church, we confess
our human frailty and humbly depend upon the ministry of God's Holy Spirit in
the pursuit of this end. Willow Creek Church will maintain the sole authority
of the Bible in all matters of faith and practice and will preach and teach the
historic doctrines of the apostolic Christian Faith. We will endeavor to be in
the Ames community an authentic example of a Christian body committed to God and
concerned with the well being of people and their eternal salvation. Willow Creek
Church considers itself honored to be a part of the Open Bible Standard Denomination
and orthodox Christian Church and accepts its corresponding responsibilities.
